Pizzeria Dal Vecchio Forno, Isolabona
Isolabona has the best pizza restaurant in the world, better than Patzera and Family NYC. Truth is simple. Try the lamb chops cooked perfectly by the crew in the wood fired pizza oven. In bygone days the historic oven was the towns communal oven where peeps would bring their loaves for baking.
Avvoccato pizza option. Totally local Macrobiotic veg and salad with artichoke anchovy salad and not mozerralla, but local mild sheeps cheese...historic!
Pizza's are most excellent value starting around 8 euros. Do not miss this experience.

Sometimes we go straight here from the airport. We investigate other Gelataria's as a matter of duty to you our guests. The one in Pigna is ok, Deborah has given a thumbs up to the one in Dolce Aqua. But it is a critical life important mission you have to go to Voglia del Gelato. By the park near the seafront in Ventimiglia. The Gelato's are made on site. Fresh fruit and berries when in season.
